What is the rental fee and what does it include?

What is the venue capacity?

  • Our Carriage House indoor venue holds 350 guests and 4 outdoor venues up to 400 guests.

Is there a deposit? When are the additional payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?

  • Yes, when the agreement is signed to “save the date” we require $2,000 “Date Reservation Fee” for Weekend Celebrations or a $1,000 “Date Reservation Fee” for One & Two Day Rentals. 12 months prior to the event 50% of the remaining fee will be due. The final installment will be required 3 months prior to the event. You are welcome to send smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due dates, so in effect creating your own payment plan on your own schedule. Full payment is due by the specified due date. If your event is less than 12 months away we require 40% “Date Reservation Fee” and final installment 3 months prior to the event.(Alternatively we can do the “Date Reservation Fee” then the 50% of remaining at 9 months, and final installment at 3 months if your celebration is less than 1 year.) In other words we can work with you for what makes sense for both of us. We also reserve the right to request a credit card or ACH on file for any damages to the facility or grounds. Credit cards payments shall incur a 3% service fee. To avoid service charge you may send a check.

How do I reserve my date?

  • To reserve a date email us at conradmansion1@gmail.com saying you are ready to book xyz date if it is still available. We suggest you email us stating you are ready to book your preferred date and then include a back up date in case your preferred date is unavailable. Prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come out in person to visit the Mansion or watch the couples tour below.

  • We know life often gets busy or you may live far away and aren't able to find a date below to tour in person right away. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We offer the actual couples tour you would do if you could be here in person and many book directly after watching the video. (And then you can visit later in person during one of our “Booked Couples Open Houses”.) So, find your fiancé, grab some popcorn and enjoy your virtual couples’ tour. Here it is!

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

  • We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only. You can request a tour here. If you are busy or out of State you can watch a Virtual Couples Tour here.

Is there a food and beverage, or guest count minimum?

  • No. Many venues have minimums because they make a 10 - 15% commission from the caterer based on how much you spend on the food. We choose NOT to make a commission because we want our food options to be as elegant or affordable as your budget allows, and therefore we don’t have a food and beverage or guest count minimum. Some caterers may have a reasonable minimum for specific dates.

Is there a food and beverage minimum, guest count minimum, or china requirement?

  • No.  Many venues have minimums because they make a 10 - 15% commission from the caterer based on how much you spend on catering. We choose NOT to make a commission because we want our food options to be as elegant or affordable as your budget allows, and therefore we don't have a food and beverage or guest count minimum. Additionally, we do not have a china requirement. (Honestly we love many of the beautiful and affordable disposable options available today! I can't even count how many times we have had a sample of these at the venue and touring couples didn't even know they were disposable until they touched them!)

Do we have to utilize your caterers and bar service?

  • No, you are free to use your own licensed caterer but we are partnered with several fantastic preferred caterers at a variety of price points with delicious and affordable menu options. Additionally, we have purposely selected small business owners, because although no one is perfect, and none of our caterers claim to be, when you work with a small business owner they are personally invested in the success of your wedding day.   

  • Yes, we require “Apres Bar Co.” bar service as they hold our liquor license.

    • Bar service is unique since it requires licenses, security, and insurance all which is included in our bar service provider, Apres Bar Co. They will host a private tasting for the couple to choose their day of liquour. Many options are available for pying for Apres Bar services. The couple could choose and Open Bar, Cash Bar, Ticketed Bar or Budgeted Bar. In other words with the your choice of liquaor and your choice of guests payment option you can spend as little or as much as you’d like on bar service.

Will there be another wedding the same day?

  • At the Conrad Mansion we only host one wedding each day, or if you chose the full weekend wedding celebration then one wedding celebration each weekend, to ensure that each couple’s event is special and receives our full attention.

Do you provide overnight accommodations?

  • Yes. Celebrating all weekend long would be so much more fun. Onsite accommodations for up to 40 guests so you can relax and enjoy your time with family and friends. You've been dreaming about this day for so long.  Celebrating all weekend long would be so much more fun. We know what it takes to make your wedding day dreams come true, and our mansion and reception space is ideal for weekend-long celebrations. Do you have a list of bed layouts for the 11 bedooms and 10.5 bathrooms?

  • Yes.

    The total above is 36 - the rest of the four are sofas in the living room and copper library. Other additional options are air mattresses, sleeping bags on floors for children, and a limited number of tent/rv spots.

We are planning on doing your weekend overnight celebration package, how many bedrooms and bathrooms do you have?

  • We have 11 large bedrooms with 10 spacious bathrooms. You will be able to enjoy your weekend celebration with 40 of your friends and family.

What if we want to bring extra overnight guests above 40 friends and family?

  • You are welcome to bring additional guests. The cost is $30 per night per guest above 40. People staying in RVs and tents are also included in the 40 person count as they will be usung the Mansion as well.

Are their overnight accommodations nearby for guests attending the wedding only?

  • Yes. The Hampton Inn & Suites, the Holiday Inn Express, Best Western, and a number of other hotels are 15 - 20 minutes away.

How many cars will your parking hold?

  • 250+ cars.

Do you provide shuttle services?

Do you offer straight tables instead of round?

  • We have over twenty hand crafted straight tables onsite that can be used for gift table, head table, or guest seating. We also provide an additional twenty round tables and 400 chairs.

Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, etc.?

  • No. The Conrad Mansion provides an awesome venue, tables, and wedding chairs for the allotted amount of time. You are more than welcome to bring your own linens, however, many couples choose to enjoy the beautiful repurposed colors of the barn wood on the straight tables and only add a beautiful center piece.

What happens in case of rain?

  • Unlike many venues, the Conrad Mansion has chosen to limit our total ceremonies to provide a dedicated space under roof as a back up in case of rain. This means in case of inclement weather the venue doesn’t have to be “flipped” from your ceremony to your reception. The reception tables are all available to be set up prior to the ceremony and need not be moved in case of rain. This ensures a smooth transition into the reception and makes the decision to bring a ceremony inside (or not) much less stressful.

We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our ceremony at the Conrad Mansion. Does you fee change?

  • Because we only host one event per weekend, with our package rentals, our fee structure remains the same whether couple’s hold their ceremony, reception, or both onsite.

Do you allow dogs onsite to play a part in our wedding day?

  • We are dog friendly, with some specific stipulations.

What form of payment does the Conrad Mansion accept?

  • Our preferred form of payment is check. We do offer payment with credit or debit cards, however, there is a 3% processing fee.

What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

Couples who choose the “Weekend Wedding Celebration” for friends and family get the entire estate for the entire weekend. Check in time is 3:00PM on Thursday and Check out is Noon on Sunday.

Do you provide a “wedding day coordinator”?

  • Unfortunately, if you are trying to compare “apples to apples” we feel like this is a tricky question. Our answer is no. We think its impossible for the job duties of a “day of wedding coordinator”” to mean something different to you than it does to us, and the last thing we want is the opportunity for miscommunication. However, we do have a team leader here before you arrive onsite who stays with you throughout the duration of your big day. This member of the Conrad Mansion is there to help you however they can (be an extra set of hands decorating, answer questions, show you where something is, or answer questions from your vendors and direct them as necessary, etc.). Their goal is to do everything possible to help your day go smoothly and ensure your day is as stress-free as possible! (But we still don’t consider them a day-of-wedding coordinator.)

What are our catering options at the Conrad Mansion?

  • The Conrad Mansion has partnered with several fantastic preferred caterers at a variety of price points with delicious menu options.

Please note that there is no food and beverage minimum and when utilizing Apres Bar Co. for bar service, it is possible to have a lovely meal and bar for 150 - 175 guests for under $3,000 with several of our catering options (catering and bar is not included in venue rental pricing.) Several of our caterers also offer a wide menu with many elevated dinner options. It's your day and we can't wait to see what you design with the help of our preferred caterers
